Terms and conditions
The terms for using this website and for window cleaning with ExoClean Perth. Last updated October 2026.
Introduction
By using the ExoClean Perth website or accepting a quote from me, you agree to these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the website or my services.
Regular cleans
All cleans are part of a regular round, every 4 or 8 weeks. I don't offer one-off cleans. I aim to keep to the same interval, but exact dates can move because of holidays or weather. I may adjust routes and cleaning dates, usually at the end of the year, to keep the round running efficiently.
Payment
You'll get an invoice by email or text after each clean. Payment is due within 7 days unless we've agreed otherwise in writing. You can pay using the link on your invoice, or automatically by GoCardless direct debit or Stripe card payment.
If payment isn't received within 30 days, I may pause your cleans. If the balance is still unpaid after 90 days, I may pass it to a debt collection agency, and any fees, including legal or court costs, become your responsibility.
Weather
Pure water cleaning works in most weather, including light rain and cold days, so weather isn't usually a reason to postpone. In heavy rain, high winds or snow I may reschedule for safety. If you turn me away on the day without notice, I may charge 50% of the clean to cover lost time.
Access
Please make sure I can get to all the areas to be cleaned. If something can't be reached, for example because a side gate is locked, I'll clean what I safely can and charge for that.
I don't climb fences or go through your home. If the back of your property can only be reached through the house, I can clean the front windows only. If you're happy for me to open a side gate, please let me know; otherwise I'll assume access is available from outside.
Obstructions and safety
I don't move garden furniture, plant pots or other items. Please keep the areas to be cleaned clear. If access is blocked, that area may be skipped and still charged.
For insurance reasons, I can't run hoses through the inside of your home (garages are fine). I don't use ladders for routine window cleaning.
24-hour re-clean guarantee
If you're not happy with a clean, let me know within 24 hours and I'll come back and re-clean the affected windows free of charge.
If, when I come back, the problem turns out to be inside the glass (for example a failed seal or condensation between the panes) or not caused by my cleaning, a £30 call-out charge may apply.
Wear and damage
I take great care, but some surfaces may already be fragile or worn:
- Oxidised uPVC frames may show light marks after cleaning. This is oxidation being lifted by the brush, not scratching.
- Scratched glass: my brushes are soft-bristled with no metal parts, and are designed not to scratch glass. Scratches are usually already there or caused by wind-blown debris.
- Decorative bars or trims that come away during cleaning are usually held on by failing adhesive. I'm not liable for items that weren't properly fixed.
- I'm not liable for damage caused by faulty installation, loose fittings, open vents, flaking paint or rotten frames.
Skipping or cancelling a clean
To skip or cancel a clean, please give me at least 48 hours' notice by phone, text or email. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged in full.
Cancelling a GoCardless direct debit doesn't cancel your cleans. Please contact me directly to stop regular cleaning.
I send an automatic reminder text the day before your clean. If you cancel after that text, I may not see it in time.
Right to refuse
I can decline or cancel work at any stage, including after payment in advance, if it's unsafe, inappropriate or not practical. Any advance payment will be refunded.
Liability
I'm fully insured and work with care. I'm not responsible for damage caused by existing problems with your property, or for areas I judge unsafe to clean. Please tell me about any fragile surfaces or fittings before I start.

Please don't send anything illegal, harmful or abusive through the website forms. Links to other websites are for convenience only, and I'm not responsible for their content.
